Tara Lipinski May be an Olympic gold medalist, but a prize is even greater – her daughter.
Lipinski, who defeated Michelle Kwan and Lu Chen to win gold by winter -os in 1998 In Nagano, Japan, was only 15 when she became The youngest winner of an individual event in the history of the game.
To highlight the anniversary of Her triumphant victory February 20, 1998Lipinski, 42, shared a touch Instagram -tribute to her daughter GeorgieAs she welcomed with husband Todd Capostasis Via surrogate in October 2023.
“February 20. A day that changed my life forever,” Lipinski wrote in his post. “What I did this day I am proud of- I could fight through all the nerves and demons that every athlete encounters right now when they know it is up to them to get the dream to happen.”
The figure’s skater said that competing in the Olympics is “a lot of pressure to resist”, which makes her “proud of all the years until this moment.”
She reflected on her younger self and said that one of the things she hopes still stays with her as she gets older is the power to believe that everything is possible.

“I hope I can remind her of the power to dream through her own life. It makes life so much more magical,” she continued.

Lipinski finished her post by saying that while she is grateful for what happened on February 20, 1998, she is “even more grateful” for where she is on February 20, 2025.
The transmitter became mother after one five -year trip with infertility. After being a mother she told people that She had “dreamed of this for so long.”
“A crying baby, sleepless nights. Even when I’m like,” okay, take an hour nap, “I’m almost too excited. I’m like,” she’s there. Just look at her a little longer, “Lipinski said.” It’s the best tired I’ve ever been. ”

Since then, Georgie has slowly become acquainted with what her famous mother does, as she accompanied her to the Paris Olympics 2024.
