Val Chmerkovskiy shares photo of ‘painful’ kidney stones: ‘Cute little bastard’

Val Chmerkovskiy describes the pain as he passes a kidney stones.

On Sunday, April 27, Dance with the stars PRO published on their Instagram stories and opened about the health scare during his trip to Marbella, Spain.

“Passing a kidney stones on my flight home was not part of my plans but here we are,” the 39-year-old wrote. “Baby Boy was a cute little bastard, about the size of a pea and has its papas eyes.”

“Quick history: I landed in Spain, had a little side/back pain. Learned, worked out, etc. etc. … thought it was just my usual back pain,” he wrote.

Chmerkovskiy said he went to bed but couldn’t sleep because he was dealing with pain throughout the night. The following day, the professional dancer tried to “get off” but the pain continued.

“I can’t see if I have to 💩, or it is something other than my side and back now kills me. So much that uncharacteristically I decide Imma go to the hospital,” he said. “However, it was incredible pain. I didn’t know what to do.”

Chmerkovskiy shared some photos of himself in the hospital and noted that “the emergency situation was brutal.” The doctors finally drove tests and found blood in the urine and told him he had a urinary infection probably caused by a kidney stones.

They prescribed him antibiotics and painkillers before sending him on his way. “Ooo of I can breathe again.” he added.

Chmerkovskiy said he felt good and was back to normal. Later he passed the kidney stones while he was about to return home.

“Boom, feel a little somewhere holy. Go to the toilet and see this little guy,” he said, sharing a photo of the pea kidney stones he passed. “I never eat sweers, or ultra fried/fatty food again.”

Chmerkovskiy later shared a selfie that smiles from his dance event, Marbella Open.

“Thank God for medicine and documents! Got me back and run, for what was such a fun event!” he said.
