The informant told the police that Gledhill visited his home on September 22 and told him that Johnson had come home two days before and “screamed at her because he knew she had slept with someone else.” “The defendant told the informant that she shot Johnson on September 21, 2024, when he slept in their bed,” the release.
Prosecutors claim that Gledhill shot Johnson in his sleep before putting his body in a “roof storage container” and transported it in his minivan before buried him in a shallow grave. According to Fox 13, Johnson’s body is still there, but Gledhill said that the informant was buried somewhere north of their Cottonwood Heights home.

Johnson’s family shared a statement with the outlet through their sacrificial representative, Brandon Merrill, CEO of Utah murder survivor.

Gledhill’s next negotiation is scheduled for February 28 per outlet. It will include a pre -conference and detention hearing.
