Trump’s attitude reflects a broader conservative criticism of meta for allegedly suppressing the right content, including Trump’s ban from Facebook after January 6, 2021, Capitol Riot.

It marks a turnaround from Trump’s first term, when he tried to ban Tiktok of similar security problems.
