Teen is accused of intentionally causing fatal collision under influence

A teenager in New Hampshire, 19, has been accused of driving under influence before he is intentionally caused by a deadly collision with a motorcycle, police have said.

On Wednesday, April 30, about 21:17 local time, the authorities responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident “on road 102, between Cutler Road and Woodburn Road” in Litchfield, NH, said the Litchfield Police Department in a press release shared with people on May 2.

“Upon arrival, officers located a Toyota Corolla and a Mitsubishi-foreigner who was involved in a counter-collision. Nearby was found a motorcycle in the wooden line, and an adult male, dressed in a helmet, was not discovered on the shoulder of the road,” the police pronounced and added that the man was pronounced on the stage.

The police identified the victim as Jeffrey Day, 57.

The driver of Toyota – identified as John Burke – has been arrested, the police say in the first post, leaving that a further investigation revealed that he “allegedly run under the impact at the incident.”

“An investigation led by the Litchfield Police Department, in collaboration with New Hampshire State Police (NHSP) -detective and collision analysis and reconstruction unit (CAR), decided that the collision between the Toyota and the motorcycle was intentional, based on witness analysis and physical evidence,” formed Police.

The release said, “The subsequent crash involving Mitsubishi is not believed to be intentional, but occurred when the driver of Mitsubishi swung to miss the motorcycle as it slid into her lane.”

Burke has been accused of the following crimes: negligent murder; Men – Reckless; First degree attack with a deadly weapon; Exacerbated DUI – severe bodily injury; Reckless Conduct – Deadly Weapon; Witness manipulation; And vehicle attack.

The suspect was arranged at the Merrimack District Court on Thursday, May 1, says police in the publication.

“The driver of Mitsubishi was treated for minor injuries in place and released. The driver of Toyota, later identified as Burke, was transported to the southern New Hampshire Medical Center and was treated for minor injuries,” police said.

Litchfield Fire Rescue shared several pictures of the event on Facebookwrote that “Derry Road was closed in both directions for hours while the police investigated the accident.”
