Girlhood is available in the most unexpected places, and for Kira Ziff it was in women’s bathroom in a four seasons.
Ziff, a 22-year-old entrepreneur and owner of the digital marketing agency Social disorderHad just finished lunch and decided to catch the perfect outfit check video. She anchored into the bathroom for her Yellow postAnd when she started filming, she noticed that a leg pops up behind the wall.
Before she could react, three middle -aged women jumped into her video, danced and laughed together. “I immediately broke out and laughed and realized that I was the opening act and they were the main show! I was like this,” Ziff reminds people exclusively.
The women – Dana Dixon, Margot Merrick and Dana Zappala – brought an infectious energy that turned a simple outfit video into a viral sensation. The interaction was not just about a fun moment; It was also deeply powerful for Ziff.
She admits that she feels shy when strangers interrupt their filming, but these women made her feel confident and included, she adds. “It was really one of these interactions that changed my confidence for the better and helped me realize that all girls of all ages really just want fun.”
The phrase “Girlhood is the best hood” has circulated in the comments on the video, and for Ziff it represents a community of women who lift each other.
“I am personally the biggest girl’s girl – I have always wanted to create a space and presence online that inspires other women to know that they can have everything. They can be successful in their career, be a girl manager, have fun with their friends and the fire a track for themselves and others, of all ages,” shares Ziff.

Ziff, who met Ageism early in his career, has often found comfort in the management of older women, she says. “Through this struggle, their guidance helped me to overcome my insecurities and fear.”
“This is for me a perfect example of how women from different generations can lift each other and break down community stigs so that we can all achieve our goals,” Ziff continues, with reference to the deeper meaning behind the playful video.

When it comes to Ziff’s relationship with the three, she is still in contact with them, she says. “We were strangers just a few days ago and now we have created such a unique band from a serendipithous moment,” she shares.
“These women I met are the perfect reflection of girls and I really hope to have a friendship like theirs when I grow up.”
