Stranded astronaut reuniting with its dogs after 9 months in space

There is nothing like seeing your best friend – especially after nine months stranded in outer space!

NASA -ASTRONAUT Sunita Suni Williams Has been stranded at International Space Station (ISS) since June 2024 for what would be a 10-day stay. On 18 March SpaceX Crew-9 finally completed his long delayed travel home to earthwhere Williams, 59, was later greeted by his two dogs.

In a heartwarming moment that the astronaut captured and divided into a video On X, the visibly excited puppies – a tanned and a chocolate brown – circle her outside her home in Houston, and their tails wave quickly.

“Do you recognize me? Do you know who I am?” Williams asks the dogs and pat them as they jump around.

The dogs continue to run around the garden under the emotional – and chaotic – reunion like Williams pets them and call the puppies their “small fat boys.”

At one point, the sweet clip also takes a funny turn as one of the dogs, named Gunner, goes off the screen and the astronaut asks: “Gunner, do you give me the cold shoulder? … Oh, you have to pee?”

“And you too?” She then asks the tan the dog. “You copy. Do you copy your big brother?”

After more pillows and stimulation from the dark brown puppy, the video cuts out. Even with the puppies’ stupid discoveries, Williams explained that it was the “best homecoming ever!”
