Prince William wishes happy 100th birthday to woman he met in Scotland

Prince William Sending birthday wishes to a new friend.

A picture showed Prince William – or, as he is entitled in Scotland, the Duke of Rothesay – who shared a laugh with Charlton during his visit. The other presented birthday girl who celebrated her big day, complete with a crown, screen, banner and balloons.

“Congratulations on the 100th birthday, Chris!” Kensington Royal Account Captions. “It was a pleasure to meet Christina Charlton during a visit to the Deidre Knight Center in Forfar, Angus. Yesterday she celebrated her 100th birthday! We hope you had a wonderful day!”

The Deirdre Knight Center provides daycare services and the care of older members in society who may experience social isolation, physical or learning difficulties and mental health problems.

Prince William visited February 6 and the center shared pictures from his time there Facebook.

“Center manager Kathleen Blythe showed Prince William around Deirdre Knight Center today, he was super impressed with our service and went with some games with curling and dominoes and chatting with members and staff,” read the post. “Be a fantastic afternoon and an honor for us to welcome him to our service and showed him around and he was impressed with all the work we do.”

In addition to her birthday item from Duke, Charlton is likely to expect another royal surprise: a card from King Charles!
