Meghan Markle was told not to model skin care because of freckles

• Meghan Markle opened about some of the challenges she met during the first days of her career during the last episode of her Confessions of a female founder Podcast, which landed on Tuesday, April 29
• During a discussion with IT Cosmetics founder Jamie Kern Lima, Meghan said she was not submitted for beauty or skincare advertising “because I had freckles”
• The Duchess also talked about being “TypeCast” because of her race

Meghan Markle Is now one of the most recognized faces in the world, but back in her early modeling and actors, she met lots of rejections.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, opened about some of the roadblocks she met as an unknown during the section 29 section 29 Confessions of a female founder Podcast.

Talk to the IT Cosmetics founder Jamie Kern Lima about previous beauty standards, Prince HarryWife said that when Kern Lima began her beauty business, she tried advertising.

“And I remember (I couldn’t be sent) for beauty or skincare ads because I had freckles,” recalled Meghan.

Markle said her freckles were a non-starter and noted: “They are like,” no, no, no, no. It will only never work because freckles are not a sign of beauty. ”

That was not the only reason why Markle met the rejection early. She also shared how her breed worked against her in the entertainment industry.

“I didn’t hear all the time, especially because I wasn’t cookies for a specific type,” she explained. “And at the beginning of my audition career, you were either the black girl or the white girl or the Latina girl or the like, everything was TypeCast.”

The Two mother said that while she “could come into many rooms”, it meant she “heard” no “even more.”

Meghan landed a series of small parts before her recurring role as Rachel Zane on hit legal drama Costumes.

To show off its natural beauty, the duchess Went makeup free on Kern Limas podcast – Jamie Kern Lima Show, that landed on Monday April 28. The interview marked her first podcast interview outside her own.

“Usually when we are together we are in our cozy sweating and no makeup,” Kern shared by himself and Meghan. “So that’s how we are today and sitting here in our cozies without makeup. And I invite you into the rocking chairs with us.”

On one occasion in the section, she was seen wipe away what seemed to be tears when discussing her children, Prince Sarker5 and Princess LiliBet3.

“I didn’t expect it!” Said Meghan with a laugh. “They are just good, it’s so good – that’s why it’s nice not to have makeup on.”
