Maggie Grace says a potential “lost” restart should be a “creative remix” (exclusive)

Maggie Grace shares their thoughts on a potential Lost restart.

The actress, 41, told People at the Los Angeles premiere Costumes February 20 that she is as urgent as the fans to see a resuscitation of the hit series – and she has some ideas for the concept.

“I think the fans community never felt like they really got the answer they were looking for at the end,” she says of the series conclusion. “So I think it would be really interesting to take some elements, loosen them and run with them in a different direction. I think there is a jumping point back. That I would be interested in seeing.”

She continues: “If they ever were to (start a restart) I would think about it more like a creative remix. Not as a direct extension, not a picking where they ended, but more here are things we think we know we know about this world. or do we? ”

Lostwhich was broadcast from 2004 to 2010, the story told of the survivors of Oceanic Airline’s flight 815 after it crashed on a distant tropical island and their attempt to survive and find a way home. Through Flashbacks, viewers taught each of the passenger’s life before the tragedy. The survivors eventually discovered that they were not alone on the island, and that “the others” – as they called themselves – did not welcome outsiders.

Although there are currently no official plans for a restart, many of the show’s stars and crew members have expressed interest in participating if the project has ever happened. Meanwhile, Grace says she would love to see the whole role gather for a reunion to catch up and remind.

“I wish ABC would do something, I don’t know, for the 25th anniversary) maybe” she tells people. “I really wish.”

“I would just love to see everyone because it was like college,” Grace continues. “I recently encountered Harold (Perrineau) and he showed me pictures of his wonderful daughters and I came to Facetime with his wonderful wife and it was just wildly seeing time. I saw Malcolm (David Kelley), which was a child then and as a Adult now, and that doesn’t seem possible.
