Officials said that a landscorer died in an accident with a lawnmower at a Texas college earlier this week.
In an e -mail message shared with People on Wednesday, March 5, San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) said its officers responded to Northwest Vista College in San Antonio on Monday 3 March.
“With information collected at the site, it seems that the subject had driven the lawnmower over a ledge,” SAPD said. “The substance fell off the lawnmower in the drainage grass and the lawnmower had fallen on top of the substance.”
Before the officers’ arrival, emergency recipients at the scene had already removed the lawnmower from the man and tried to save him, SAPD said.
“Despite EM’s life -saving attempt, the subject was pronounced deceased at 09:35,” police said.
The authorities said that the death was decided as an accident and no foul game was suspected.
Alamo Colleges said the machine was a commercial lawnmower on which a person is riding rather than one who is pushed manually, CBS connection Ken reported.
The victim was later identified as Jorge Gonzales, 55, according to a spokesman for Northwest Vista College and Alamo College’s district in a statement to People.
