On Tuesday, April 1st, Kevin Hart embodied his rapper alter ego for the first time in year for one NPR Tiny Desk Concertwhich makes the perfect April Fool’s joke.
“You’re not getting ready,” said Hart, 45, who sported a black hoodie and red back cover, when opening the video.
“I’m here with the band of brothers and we are coming down. Only when they have someone on a small desk without any trail,” he said before joking, “Shoutout to Band of Brothers. I just met them outside, told them I wanted to do this.”

Hart – who released is dropped debut mixture What now? 2016 – then addressed its alter egos time away from the limelight.
“I got a story and I try to tell you that story. I’ve been away for a minute and every time I see people … the first thing they say is ‘Dropp where you been? When are you going to give us more?’ The question is now I guess. Borderland said the actor.
Remaining in character, Hart began his first song, “West Coast”, after referring to himself as a “big dog.”
“Little feeling, Big Heart is what I got/the will to never start, but stop/yes now I come and I have that bop,” he reported.
In the next track, Dropping said he would “slow it down” and he had no problems “to release my feelings on the track” called “Love Song.”
“You know this was hard for me to do? It was hard for me to come back out my shell, come back here and give you a piece of me that I didn’t know I wanted, I didn’t know I wanted to give,” he said, before he escaped that “Dropp is here to go no.”
For his last song he went “Off the Dome” and asked his band to give him a pace for a song called “Don’t F — with them.” Finally, he cut the music and said an “album is coming soon.”
In 2016, Hart released debut mixture, which included collaborations with stars such as Chris BrownThe MigorThe Big SeanTi and Nick Jonas.
After the interruption teased Hart its return as dripping during a performance in Kai Cenats “AMP Freshman Cypher” Last summer.
