This is not Griffin’s first horror. In August 2021, she revealed that she was diagnosed with lung cancer in step 1 and needed some of the lung away.

In December 2021 she said during a performance at Jimmy Kimmel live That she was officially cancer -free after completing a successful operation. On the show, she had a spirit, higher voice after undergoing surgery – and the comic immediately cracked a joke about it.

“I had surgery, you will not believe in this – so I never smoked but I got lung cancer. In August I got half my left lung away,” I don’t even have a kid, “she told Kimmel before explaining that her voice was temporarily changed by an intubation tube that affected her vocal cords.

“So now I’m like Minnie Mouse meets Marilyn Monroe,” Griffin said. “It will heal, but I enjoy it a bit. I’m a good two octaves higher, I think. It’s taller than Mariah Carey, I know it.”

When Kimmel asked, “Did the doctors get everything? They got all the lung cancer from there?” Griffin confirmed that her tumor had been completely removed.

When she first shared the news of her diagnosis, Griffin encouraged her fans to stay “updated on your medical controls” and remained optimistic in terms of their own health and signed on Instagram“I will have a good time.”
