Kat Timpf was told she had breast cancer hours before she gave birth to her son

FOX News contributor Cat timpf learned that she had breast cancer hours before giving birth to her son.

On Tuesday, February 25, TIMPF, 36, as First announced his pregnancy in July last yearrevealed in a post shared on Instagram and X that she and man Frozy Cameron Welcome their first child together hours after she learned that she had breast cancer.

With reference to it as an “unconventional birth message,” wrote TIMPF, “Last week I welcomed my first child to the world. About fifteen hours before I went to work, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.”

The Gutfield! The panelist advised her followers that her doctor said that her cancer is in step 0 “and is convinced that it has almost not spread.”

National Breast Cancer Foundation explains on its Website That step 0 is “the earliest stage of breast cancer” and “is very treatable when it is detected early.”

TIMPF wrote to find out about her diagnosis, “but was not a chilly day.”

“I woke up for more than a week pregnant, completely consumed by doing everything I could to get the baby out,” TIMPF wrote. “In the middle of the afternoon I turned around from meeting to meeting and talked about how I get my Cancer out.”

She said it was under the appointments that she heard “the best action would probably be a double mastectomy as soon as possible.”

She credited hospital staff to be “excellent audience for dark humor.”

“Just minutes after my boy was born, I talked to the nurses about what a birth message in my situation might look like,” she explained.

TIMPF said she still gets used to her “new reality”, as her next three months of maternity leave will be “much different than I expected.”

“Still, when I navigate new motherhood (and new cancer) I learn to celebrate everything I can. I’m lucky that we found cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mother,” she wrote. “I mean, I know I’m biased, but the little guy is absolutely controlling – and not just because he may have saved my life.”

The new mother ended her post by thanking everyone for their support, writing, “Here is to resilience, for miracles in the middle of chaos and finding humor and hope even on the toughest days.”
