Jordan chili and Jade Carey Is an iconic duo and now they have their very own Barbie dolls together!
The two gymnasts are honored with figures for International Women’s Day as part of Mattel’s initiative that celebrates the holiday – and the power of friendship.
Also honored is Ted Lasso Stars Hannah Waddingham and Juno Temple, Australian tennis player Evonne Goolagong Cawley and Ash Barty and Brazilian models Paola Antonini and Kelen Ferreira.
In an exclusive interview with People, Chiles and Carey open up about the partnership while becoming real about to see each other and the women in their lives.

Carey, 24, says she was “shocked” when she found out that she would be part of the powerful collaboration. “It’s just a small child’s dream come true,” she tells people exclusively. “Jordan and I have definitely experienced what can come from our friendship and how much easier a trip can be together. So I’m just really honored to be a part of this day with Barbie. ”
The campaign is also a full circle moment for Chiles, 23, because she reminds to play with Barbies “all the time” when she was younger. “Especially on International Women’s Day, it only means so many things. To be African American and have this opportunity to show the younger generation how it is not just having friendship, (without embracing) the ability to really put your mind into anything, she says.
Each of their dolls are dressed in clothes inspired by their previous performance. Careys Sports an Emerald Green Bedazzled Unitard and Chiles’ wears a colorful patterned design from Beyoncé-inspired ensemble The athlete wore to compete in 2024 US Gymnastics Championships.
When asked how they celebrate International Women’s Day (March 8), Chiles and Carey say that they have their own ways to shower their loved ones with support, love – and even flowers.
“I am a presenter. I am a girl girl, so when I feel someone needs flowers, I will give them. It just makes me feel that I took light into their day, says Chiles. Adds Carey: “I always give off that I’m willing to give a helping hand and get people to know I’m there for them.”

The two also look forward to applying women in sports on international women’s day and thereafter. “It’s something we work with even in our team here in Oregon State,” says Carey, who competes with his university. “… celebrates every little thing and each other. Jordan and I have really been able to do it together in our time to be friends and teammates. ”

Chiles and Carey competed in the summer of 2024, where, together with Simone Biles, Suni Lee and Hezly Rivera, they came out victorious in Women’s finalsDriving Team USA to its fourth gold medal in the event.

Carey admits that it was a lot of uncertainty to go into the games. “It came with many hard days, but knowing that we were in it together and on the same trip it made it much easier,” she says, adding that their “biggest goal” was to have fun throughout the trip.
“The best times we had were probably just everyone in our apartment,” adds chili about how the team is bound outside competitions and training.
“The dining room was fantastic because it would be the time where we all like, okay, what do we eat this time? We would be like, okay, so I guess it’s pizza night or should we eat burgers?, ”She continues and illuminates their team trips to the grocery store and their obsession with Viral Olympic village of chocolate muffins.

Whether it is through their record -breaking statistics and talent or their friendship, Chiles and Carey are real role models for what it means to stand for what you love, while taking care of others, and they look forward to inspiring their young fans with Mattel.
“Knowing that little girls can look at that doll and be, do you know what? If she can do it I can do it – it’s always my favorite thing to say, says Chiles, who often applies the motto to his own life.
“I hope they feel inspired and feel encouraged to continue their dreams and strive for something bigger. Because at the end of the day it is their story, it is their chapter and they are allowed to write them as they want, “she says, emphasizing the importance of surrounding yourself with a good support system to remind you that” you will always be to girl.”
Echoes Carey: “Finding your inner circle is really special and you will always make these people really lift you up.” She adds: “(it’s all about) encourages every little girl to be proud of who they are and celebrates every little win in life.”
