John Goodman suffers from “Hip Injury” Filming New Movie With Tom Cruise in England

John Goodman are on the way after being injured on the set.

The actor, 72, recently suffered a hip injury while working with director Alejandro G. Iñárritus’s latest film, A Warner Bros. Pictures spokesman tells People in a statement. (The sun was the first to report the news).

“John Goodman experienced a hip injury,” says the representative. “He received immediate medical care that led to a brief delay in shooting to give him time to recover.”

“Production will resume shooting next week after John’s full recovery,” spokesman adds.

The project, which is currently unmite and is filmed at Pinewood Studios in England with an expected release date on October 2, 2026, stars as well Tom CruiseThe Jesse Plemons and Rice Ahmed.

According to a blank synopsis on ImdbThe film follows “the most powerful man in the world” after he “causes a disaster and initiates an assignment to prove that he is the savior of humanity.”

Goodman – whose House in Pacific Palisades -Quarter in Los Angeles burned down Earlier this year – also has other projects in pre -production at present, including Chilifinger and Smurfs.

Some of the filmmaker Iñárritus remarkable films include 21 grams (2003), Babel (2006), Two tax (2010), Birdman (2014), Income (2015) and Bardo (2022).

During his famous career, Iñárritu has been nominated for and won awards at various awards, including the Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, BAFTA AWARDS and Independent Spirit Awards.
