Grandma goes viral and eats chocolate ice cream after fasting (exclusive)

Alexis AlvarezGrandma, Magali, remains deeply rooted in tradition – especially during the holidays.

Alvarez, 24, says that her grandmother has always shown love through the meals she prepares and how her food collects everyone around the table. “No one cooks like my Abuela, and no one completely loves like her either,” Alvarez says exclusively.

A season Magali observes especially is omitted. Every year, when Easter arrives, Alvarez says that her grandmother gives up candy – especially chocolate. So it came as no surprise when the 84-year-old again decided to give up chocolate this year.

“Chocolate is her favorite and” most tempting “for her, so that’s why she gives it up for fasting,” explains Alvarez.

Before borrowed even this year, Magali was already planning plans with Alvarez to get chocolate. The week before fasting she was packed, she said to grandchildren, “I count down the days until you take me for my chocolate.”

When Easter came and borrowed, Alvarez stopped taking his grandmother to some new local chocolates. But Magali had other ideas. She wanted to go to Cold Stone Creamerry instead and told Alexis, “Cold Stone does what I like it. I don’t want to risk going anywhere else.”

“I am very proud of her for being strong during the 40 days because she had the opportunity to eat chocolate on our family dinners and she didn’t,” Alvarez adds.

So the duo drove over to its local cold stone, where Magali ordered the “chocolate devotion” flavor with pecans added, in a waffle cone cup dipped in chocolate and nuts. Size: Must have it! When they enjoyed their treatment, Magali exclaimed: “This is better than sex!”

The workers, in shock, began to laugh, and Alvarez couldn’t help but laugh at Grandma’s bold statement.

Right now Alvarez pulled out his phone and recorded Grandma’s reaction. Later, she published the video on her Instagram story for her friends, who loves to see content in her grandparents. But then everyone started sweeping up and suggested that she “published it on Tiktok.”

So she did – and that Went viral. Since then, the video has taken up more than 4 million views and almost 2,200 comments.

“Do you need to know what her order is LOL because I go to Cold Stone today and get the exact thing,” commented on a user.

“I know it cost $ 25 on Cold Stone,” someone else wrote.

Another user said, “I gave up chocolate for fasting too I really feel her happiness.”

“I told her the next day, and she was surprised. The first thing she asked was,” Well, will it make me any money? “To whom I replied: ‘No’, ‘Alvarez’s joke.

“Everyone loves her! I’ve never had a viral video with 100% positive comments – it’s super rare, so I’m glad she got so much love,” adds Alvarez. “I also love how many people said it reminded them of their grandmother, who has passed away and how it made them happy.”

Alvarez hopes that the video will continue to make people happy and laugh, as her grandmother continues to inspire people to live their lives to the fullest.

“What I admire most is her strength, resilience and unconditional love,” says Alvarez. “She has met many challenges in life, but you would never know from how she carries herself – with grace, warmth and wisdom. She always knows exactly what to say and offers advice when I need it most – even when I don’t realize it yet.”

“She’s not just my grandmother,” she adds, “she is my role model, my guide and a constant reminder of the power of hard work and love.”
