“General Hospital” star Steve Burton marries Michelle Lundström wedding exclusively

Steve Burton has found his eternal partner.

The actor, 54, married the chef and the content creator Michelle Lundström44, on Saturday, May 17 in an intimate Orthodox Church ceremony, followed by a reception at Montage Laguna Beach in Laguna Beach, California. “This day is not just about a ceremony,” Burton tells People. “It’s the beginning of forever with the love of my life.”

Lundström, who showed up at Netflix’s Barbecue Showdown 2wore a custom, strapless couture dress designed by Lee Petra Grebenau for her big day. “That was exactly what I wanted, romantic with a vintage vibe,” says the bride. Her daughters from a previous relationship, 14-year-old Lilah and 10-year-old Hannah, joined her in her search for the perfect wedding dress.

“When I tried on my dress, I knew it was it,” she reminds. “I came out to show my girls and they both said,” It’s it, Mom! ” We all knew. ”

The couple’s “dream -like celebration filled with so much love”, along with those “who have always been there” for them, were “more meaningful than words can express.”

“I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, grow together every day in faith and love,” says Burton, with Lundström added that marriage “means everything” to them.

Binding the knot with Burton was a particularly emotional moment for Lundström, who “has never felt so safe and loved” by anyone.

“Gosh, he has proven that Fairy Tale Love really exists,” she tells people. “He is like pure sunshine – always uplifting, infinitely caring. His love makes me a better person every day.”

She continues, “to have the most incredible man I have ever known on my side forever gives me so much peace and happiness. He is the love of my life, and I feel so blessed to call him mine.”

Burton is equally happy to start a new chapter with Lundström.

“Honestly, I’ve never felt so loved and cared for all my life,” he admits. “I am extremely grateful to have her by my side. She is the most amazing, beautiful and selfless woman I have ever known. I love her so much.”

The couple enjoyed a “dreamy” live dinner under the stars, with guests sitting on the lawn overlooking sea waves that gently crash against the beach.

Lundström notes that she and Burton “built a deep, meaningful friendship before (their) relationship became romantic.” However, it didn’t take long for them to realize that they were each other’s perfect match, with the SOAP Opera star Popping of the question January 3 in Nashville, Tennessee.

“I found a beautiful farm that had a cool scene with string lights and a small romantic chapel. I told Michelle that we would look at a property to possibly buy,” recalls Burton. “The plan developed perfectly and she said yes!”

“It was extremely sweet,” says Lundström about the proposal. “He had a background of the first place we met personally on stage. When he got down on one knee, I was filled with emotions and a little shock. But, of course, I said yes! He then led me into the chapel, where Rosenblad, light and our photos surrounded us. We missed our favorite songs that I cried.

Now the married couple is honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
