59-year-old Bush-Frontman revealed Instagram Tuesday, March 25, that he adopted a new dog, Kaya, from a protection in Los Angeles County.

“Please meet Kaya – the latest addition to our family,” he wrote in the caption. “10 days ago we got this guy from a shelter in East Valley.”

“Which Vibe gets to know each other. The boys are happy,” he wrote about his Three sons, Kungston18, Zuma, 16 and Apollo, 11, as he shares with ex-wife Gwen Stefani. The former couple Split 2015After almost 12 years of marriage.

He added three adorable photos of Kaya, including a picture of the black puppy that stood next to his new owner outside a house.

Rossdale also published two sincere snaps by Kaya who enjoys her new surroundings. One was a black and white image of Kaya that rested on a light sofa, and the other photo was by Kaya that saw a warning on an outdoor tire.

The addition of Kaya follows the death of Rossdale’s beloved dog, Chewy McGregor, in January 2024.

At that time, Rossdale published a heartfelt tribute to his late dog. “It’s been a few days. Me and the family are pretty heartbroken,” he wrote. “The house feels different, all his spots are vacant and the floor has no life.”

“And he was my absolute little furry bestie,” he continued. “Can’t stop thinking about him even though I look like I am doing something else. He was the one through all my hardest and lonely times.”

“He was magical. Love your pets. Love your people. Love yourself better. 🖤,” he concluded.

Then, on a year’s anniversary of Chewy’s death, Rossdale published one Instagram photo in memory of his late dog. “A year today 💔 sweetest boy,” he simply formed selfie for him and chewy knit his head out of the car window.
