A European flight was founded for more than an hour when the crew on board searched for a missing mobile phone as the accused passengers of stealing.
According to reports from Birmingham liveThe Manchester Evening News and Edinburgh evening newsPassengers aboard a plane that was on their way to Tirana, Albania, at London Luton Airport in Luton, England, on Friday 25 April, was held in their seats for 90 minutes after the staff accused them of stealing a security guard.
The outlets reported that Wizz Air Flight W95004 would start at 15:10 local time, and the plane was completely on board when the police arrived.
Per stores were the staff were warned of security camera films caught at the airport, which was said to show a passenger as the steel phone.
According to Edinburgh evening newsThe crew made an announcement just before the original start time to tell the flight’s passengers: “We know that the phone is on board, now we should leave in two minutes. We cannot because of this. This is a security issue.”

An anonymous passenger said that the staff claimed they had called the missing phone and heard the cabin crew announcements when someone responded to the call according to the stores.
Almost an hour after the original departure time, a crew member informed passengers that investigators were still examining the security camera films to find the suspect.
“We still want to give the chance for this potential person who made the mistake of bringing it before they find it in (security) video,” he said in an announcement according to the stores. “Again, please get to the front or to my colleagues on the back.”
Eighty -eight minutes after the original flight time made a crew member a new announcement and said: “There is no object on this plane. We are satisfied with our security position to go.”
“I appreciate your understanding of this situation. It is also for us a fairly new one. We are doing our best and we will be on our way to Tirana very soon,” he continued according to the stores.
Video films of the event obtained by the stores showed that passengers patted and cheered when the flight finally took off on Albania.
A spokesman for Wizz Air – a budget airline headquartered in Budapest, Hungary – told People in a statement: “We are aware of an incident that occurred on a Wizz flight departure from London Airport on Friday 25 April, resulting in passengers experiencing a short delay.”

“The security and safety of our passengers and crews is our highest priority, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience when our team helped the authorities to ensure a quick solution to the situation,” leaving the airline.
The anonymous passenger, 28, who spoke to the stores said they were worried about the airport security in situations like these.
“You would think that airports would be safer and this would be solved much faster,” the passenger said. “You’re not even sure Luton Airport, somewhere you think is a safe space.”
The Bedfordshire Police did not immediately respond to people’s request for further information about the incident.
