Fat Joe mourn mourns death by his mother less than three months after his father died

Fat Joe Griefs the loss of her mother, Marie.

On Saturday, May 3 Instagram Post that his mother, Marie Del Cartagena, has died. She was 77 years old, according to TMZ.

“This is a real, rest in peace for the woman who brought me in this world,” musicians wrote in a long message and shared how close he was with his mother. “She didn’t have much but she gave us everything.”

“Anyone who knows my mother knows she had a heart of gold. She refused to move out the projects for many years even though I had money,” he continued. “She loved her society, she loved her people – Ms Ruby Terror group Queen.”

Fat Joe (whose real name is Joseph Antonio Cartagena) shared that his mother was “soooo proud of us” – which means “everyone in the crew” – including his friends and often collaborators, DJ KhaledThe Remy hasStylist Terrell Jones and more.

Marie’s death comes less than three months after Death of Fat Joe’s father, ErnestoAt the age of 89 in February. The couple was together for 60 years before his death, Fat Joe said.

“I have to thank the Father, my God for let her get her in my life for so long,” Fat Joe continued. “The truth is that she died of a broken heart. 60 years with a man and he recently died, my dad wanted her with him.”

The rapper “What’s Luv” also shared a series of pictures of his mother, including pictures of her posing with her son and his friends and family, as well as a photo of her as a young woman.

Father of three previously shared that his father died on February 12.

In addition to the tribute to his father, Fat Joe shared a carousel with photos of the couple together and with other family members.

The next snap showed off the duo standing against a blue car, while a third photo contained Ernesto who leaned on his grandchild JoeyS shoulder. In January, the rapper celebrated his mother’s birthday and entered Another Instagram post that she was “the love of my life.”

“I pray to God every day and thank him for having you in my life,” he wrote, along with a photo of himself who hugs Marie. “We had a rough but we got ourselves and I will always be by your side.”
