Family Breeding Man’s dying desire to be buried in Snickers theme Kista

A British man who dreamed of being buried in a coffin similar to a Snickers -bar has received his wish.

Paul Broome, a care assistant for adults with learning difficulties, was 55 years old when he died, according to SWNS.

In his will, Broome requested that he be put to rest in the Snickers-inspired coffin, something he had previously joked about. So close and dear made their dream reality, even writing the phrase “I’m nuts!” On the side of the coffin as the “perfect tribute” to Broome, which was known for its “fast width and evil humor.”

The coffin also contained the logo for Crystal Palace FC, a team that Broome supported.

Ali Leggo, funeral organizer at Fa Holland Funeralcare in Chichester, said they “love to help families find unique, heartfelt and creative ways to say goodbye to their loved ones in the way they think are most appropriate.”

“Paul’s family informed us that he was one of the true characters of life, and his farewell had to reflect it,” LEGGO said. “The coffin was a fitting tribute to his unique personality.”

Leggo said that Broome’s family “received nothing but positive feedback from those who participated in” his funeral – and that many participants were fond of “personal details”, which they felt “made the service a real celebration of Paul’s life.

She added, “It was a privilege to help his family bring his final wishes to life.”
