A passenger on board Delta Flight 4819 has recalled the scary moments after the plane crashed.
As previously reported by peopleThe flight, which is run by the regional subsidiary’s endeavor, from Minneapolis-ST. Paul International Airport crashed at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport around 14:45 local time on Monday 17 February.
Peter Koukov was among the 76 passengers who could safely leave the plane when a fire broke out when it hit the track, according to CNN. He told the outlet that he “didn’t know anything was the thing” until it felt like the plane turned sideways.
Koukov said that when the aircraft stopped, “we were up and down hanging like bats.” He added that while he could stand upright after leaning himself, he said that other passengers needed help from his seats.

According to a statement divided Delta XThere were four crew members also aboard the flight, and all 80 people survived the crash.
The airline has not yet shared details about what caused the accident, but said “initial reports indicate that there are no deaths and 18 customers with injuries have been transported to hospitals in the area. Our primary focus is to take care of the affected. ”
“The hearts of the entire Global Delta family are with those affected by today’s incident at Toronto-pearson International Airport,” Delta CEO Ed Bastian said in the post. “I would like to thank the many delta and striving team members and the first respondents in place.”

Photos Koukov shared on Instagram At the moment he escaped, the aircraft has become viral with almost 4 million likes.
A flight value is seen that helps him and other passengers out and down the plane on the icy track when firefighters compete to spray white fireplace. People were invited to leave their possessions behind but in the pictures, although some could be seen with bags and neck cushions.
“Living feels pretty cool today,” Koukov wrote his video.
Torontos Pearson International Airport announced via Instagram that departures and arrivals were resumed at 17 local time after the crash and “GTAA staff support passengers’ families on arrivals.”
Deborah Flint, CEO of Greater Toronto Airport’s Authority, confirmed that the two runways that are directly affected by the crash will remain closed for several days when the situation is investigated by CNN.
