Since the couple started dating just over a year ago, they have spent a lot of time together in Hawaii, where Ward has lived since 2013, and also holidays in the Cook Islands.

Although the couple is still recently engaged, Hefner has already considered some wedding planning options – and she tells people a tropical wedding in a place that is “warm and familiar” would be perfect for her and department.

“We love somewhere warm and familiar to us, Hawaii and the Cook Islands would be perfect alternatives,” she shares. “We have had the best time earlier in the Cook Islands, so it’s at the top of our list.”

“We want to be close to nature, near the sea, and just have things to be simple and beautiful,” adds Hefner.
