Christopher Walken on ‘Awkward’ Severrance Dinner with John Turturro (exclusive)

Fans saw a new side of Christopher Walkencharacter in the latest section of Departure weight – And the actress icon breaks it all down.

Section 6, entitled “Attila”, which dropped on Apple TV+ on Friday 21 February, watches Burt (Get started) and Irving (John Turturro) Meeting as their “excursions” for dinner with Burt’s Make Cecil Fields, played by John Noble.

The trio talked about Burt’s origin on Lumon and what their daily experiences at the company meant, then things became uncomfortable when Cecil took up the opportunity that Burt and Irvings “Inies” had “unprotected sex.”

Getting caught up with people, Walken, 81, breaks down the dinner scene in question.

“During the first season you see me and you see Burt and Irving, and almost all our things are with each other, and it’s just the two. In the second season it’s on the outside,” he says. “You see Burt’s house, you see where he lives, you see how he dresses. You meet his husband, and suddenly the two become one (love) triangle.”

“You have Irving and Burt, and then you have the man, who is almost forced to be difficult,” he continues. “It’s like you bring your boyfriend home to meet your husband. It’s a bit tricky. So that’s how I saw it.”

Humanity aside, it is always a benefit for the walking to get the chance to work with Turturro. The couple’s decades of friendship made it so much easier for them to build chemistry as on the screen love interests.

“I think the fact that we know each other very well for a long time was very useful,” Walken explains. “We didn’t have to fight to make our relationship real or credible. I think you are looking at it and you see that John and I know each other, that we like each other. Type of when you see a married couple or people who are together. ”

“I think Burt and Irving have a lot to do with John and Chris,” he adds.

Despite the show’s darker themes and subjects, the Walken can find moments of Levity between Ta – and Tour Turro, 67, is a great help in it.

“It was one of the nice things, like an actor in the movies, there is a lot to sit and wait for them to fix the lamps and so on,” he says. “John and I just had a lot of fun sitting there and talking. We talked about everything. We talked about maybe writing a book about all the things we talked about.”
