“Being on a TV show, it’s like living a year in one day,” says Beghe. “I’ve been with these people and I’m pretty sure they love me. I know I love them and I don’t use that word solved. I mean, it’s a completely different family.”
He continues: “And just like your friends and your children and yourself you see these moments when people develop, go to the next level, no matter what it is, change. It is natural and normal, but it is still beautiful and inspiring.”
Beghe also shared his hope that Chicago pd Will be renewed by NBC for a 13th season-separated because he knows that the fans are important and the driving force behind the success of the long-term series.
“I know for me and I think that for many of us, one of the reasons we are still on the air is that we are really grateful and we really care, and we want to do a good job,” he tells people. “We understand that it’s not really about us. It’s about you, the fans. This is your show. It’s for you. … It’s no sense to tell a story if there is no one listening. So it’s really about you, we tell you the story and that’s an honor.”
