On Friday, March 21, the actor, 44, published a trio of pictures of himself on InstagramShows how his body size has fluctuated over the years. He said he will no longer take on “fat roles” because the process is “too hard on the body.”

Tatum showed off his currently buff body building in the first photo when he posed shirtally in black boxers while admiring his reflection in a window.

In the second snap, Magical Mike Star seemed to have a more complete figure when he stood in front of a bathroom mirror. Tatum’s third selfie showed him with a visibly narrower frame while again posing shirt -free.

“We back up! Lol,” wrote Tatum in the post’s captions. “1st photo is today 205 (pound), 2nd photo 235 (pound) for a movie called Josephine. Then went to 3rd photo which is 172 (pound) for a movie CeilingHe explained.

“I am so grateful for my genetics,” Blink twice The actor said, while he also called out his chef, business physician and coach.

“I couldn’t make these big swings in my weight without you. But I won’t do more fat roles haha,” Tatum continued. “It’s too hard on the body and too hard to take off now. But damn when I look at these pictures it’s just wild what the human body and will do.”

Tatum’s post comes after he shared a Shirt Selfie Taken behind the scenes in the upcoming heist movie Ceiling Back in December 2024.

The actor, who plays the real thief Jerrey Manchester in the film, published on his Instagram stories a photo of him in his hair and the makeup chair on the set while getting his tattoos covered by makeup artists when he sported a wig hat and goat.

“Chaos of tattoo that covers and wigs,” he wrote over the picture.

Tatum previously talked about having difficulty staying in shape on Kelly Clarkson -Show In February 2022.

“I really don’t know how people who work nine to five actually stay in shape because it’s my full -time job and I can hardly do it,” Tatum said. “But you exercise twice a day, you have to eat completely at a particular time. It’s a specific thing.”

The actor said it was easier to “fluctuate” weight between roles when he was younger, but “now I can’t get it that simple.”
