Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ferguson – which is trial For claiming murdered his wife, Sheryl Ferguson testified – that he had shot her with “accident.”

He stated that he had several drinks during dinner in addition to a beer and a rum and soda before meals. When he was asked in court if he was an alcoholic, he replied: “I drank too much and denied so I guess I was.”

He claimed, according to the outlet, that he saw his wife with a “surprised look” in the face before standing up from her chair and fell on the floor. He said his son Phillip then tackled him and demanded that he drop the gun, which he eventually did. He told the court that he then told his son to “call 911”, Per CBS News.

Ferguson was previously accused of a crime against murder, a count of crime improvement of personal use of a firearm and a bill of incorrect improvement of emissions of a firearm causing great bodily injury and death after police discovered his 65-year-old wife on August 3 2023, per a press release.
The Supreme Court’s judge is planned to continue their testimony during their trial on Tuesday, February 25.
