‘Brady Bunch’ Cast Reunites, Barry Williams reflects on ‘Ups and Downs’ (exclusively)

Some of Brady Bunch Stars are back together again!

Barry WilliamsThe Mike LookinlandThe Susan Olsen and Christopher Knight reunited on The chocolate exhibition On Long Island, NY, on Sunday, May 4 for a panel discussion about their hit show. Knight, Williams, Lookinland and Olsen played siblings Greg, Bobby, Cindy and Peter Brady respectively.

Reflect on the bands that the actor shared while working with Brady Bunchwhich went from 1969 to 1974, says Williams exclusively that the family’s dynamics were also prominent off the screen.

“I think it translated from the show, the chemistry we had and is proven by our lifelong friendship, relationships,” says the actor, 70.

“We know the ups and downs. We have gone through a wedding, we have gone through the separation, we have gone through children, we have gone through college now,” he continues. “It’s been really nice, as shown in being here.”

The Brady Cast members last reunited In March, Sans Knight, 67, for their first chocolate appearance.

For the event, which took place in New Jersey, Williams, Lookinland, 64 and Olsen, 63, reflected on their band 50 years after Brady BunchLast section.

“We are all still friendly and meet. I think it’s fun for us to meet everyone, which we do,” Williams said. “Some of them I like better than my own family … chemistry – which you can’t fake – is genuine.”

The cast has also kept in touch in other ways over the years. Knight and Williams host The real Brady Bros Podcast, and their latest, very hyped episodes gave one behind the scenes look at the start of the show.

Olsen revealed on the podcast that she “almost died” while she shot the show’s pilot, “honeymoon.” In the section, Brady played Mike and Carol by The Late Robert Reed and Florence Hendersonkick off the show by getting married.

“I was standing on a makeup chair and something from the catwalk, where they keep all the lights and everything, fell,” Olsen said. “It hit the makeup man first, (bounced) from the body makeup woman and hit me in the face.”

The producers decided that the show must continue, so I love Lucy Makeup Guru Hal King was sent to cover Olsen’s bruises before they shot the wedding scene.

“You can say, if you look at the ceremony and see the three girls on one side, if you were to zoom in really tight, you can see that my face is quite swollen,” Olsen said. “I look different. You can even see it in some of the early public pictures.”

However, Olsen maintained a good sense of humor about the event. “The saddest news is that we didn’t match Paramount, because I would have done more of it than the show,” she joking.

The Brady children have made other public performances in recent months. In November, Knight and Williams were united by Eve Plumbwho played his sister on the screen Jan, on NBC’s Today View to promote a Buddy gang-Temed sweepstakes for charity No child hungry.
