A 13-year-old boy has died just a few days after he was involved in a tragic electric bicycle accident.
Everett Police said in a release That the 13-year-old boy, who was later identified by the family like Emiliano “Emi” Muno, was involved in a deadly accident on Friday 2 May, while cycling. Muno struck a braided cable that stretched between a fence post and a traffic balls around 16:30 local time.
Everett Fire and police departments responded in collaboration with their road safety unit all of the incident, the authorities say. Munoz was then taken to the Harborview Medical Center, but he finally died from his injuries three days later on Monday 5 May.

The cable has been removed and Everett Police Department is investigating the accident, according to ABC Affiliate Komo TV.
A Gofundme Supporting his surviving family members has already collected more than $ 21,000. In his description, Munoz is described as “a beloved student” which was “known for his warm spirit and friendly smile.”
“He was a real friend for many and will never be forgotten,” Gofundme notes.
“I am completely heartbroken about this tragic loss,” said Everett citizen Cassie Franklin in a statement shared by Heraldnet. “Please keep this child’s loved ones and his explorer medical school community in your thoughts when they mourn.”
People were enough for a representative from Mukilteo School District, where Munoz participated in Middle School, for comments, but they did not answer immediately.
