Billy Joel recover quickly after the fall during the concert, the fans cheer: Look at



Billy Joel Got some love from the crowd after a card on stage stumbles at a new concert.

The music icon, 75, got stuck to his classic from 1980 “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me” while he performed in Connecticut at Mohegan Sun Arena on February 22, which is seen in a Tiktok video Posted by a concert guest.

But after spinning his microphoneative and throwing it to the audience, Joel then seemed to stumble and fall back and land on his side.

The moment later, the five times Grammy winner moved on his back when the audience broke out in applause, and he then seemed to come back on his feet when the pictures finished.

The rest of Joel’s set continued as planned, according to Setlist.fmAs musicians continued with his Encore performance by singing hits “Big Shot” and “You may be right.” Elsewhere in the show Joel Treated Classics including “Piano Man”, “Movin ‘Out (Anthony’s Song)” and “Vienna.”

Joel’s latest gig at Mohegan Sun took place before he is scheduled to perform at the Rogers Center on March 15. The show is invoiced as Joels First performance of over a decade in Toronto.

Joel is too sat to make history in New York City later this summer when he’s performing at All three major NYC Sports Stadiums – Yankee Stadium, Citi Field and Metlife Stadium – which makes him the first artist to do so.

“I look forward to playing these iconic stadions this summer – each one has personal meaning to me,” Joel told Message board in a statement.

“There’s nothing like the crowds in New York and sharing a scene with my friends, StakeThe Sting and Stevie NicksWhose music always inspires me, is extremely rewarding, he continued.

Joel’s Yankee Stadium visit will make him the first artist who ever performed at both Old Yankee Stadium, which closed after the 2008 season, and the updated Yankee Stadium, which opened in 2009, New York Daily News reported.

Joel recently finished his long -term residence on Madison Square Garden Last year, after playing a concert there every month from January 2014 to July 2024 (not including Mitt i Covid-19-Pandemic and the absence of shows in June 2017 and December 2022).

His last MSG concert marked his 150th show on the arena, and a permanent banner was raised in his honor.

“It’s been a dream,” Joel told the audience at that time. “I first came to Madison Square Garden when I was a 4-year-old to see the circus and watch Gene Autry sing ‘Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.’ And now, here I do this.

He added: “We also don’t want to go, but it’s time. It’s ten years. None of us knew we could do this for so long. This has been the most amazing gig we’ve ever done ever.”
