‘Basketball Wives” Brittany Renner describes conversion to Islam (exclusively)

Brittany Renner is honestly talking about his repentance to Islam.

The 33-year-old social media influence, which returns to season 12 of VH1’s Basketball womenRecently spoke exclusively to People at the exhibition May 2, Carpet Red Premiere Event.

Renner tells people“Allah called me back to this platform, to this show, and I feel like the first time I was here, I didn’t put my best foot forward.”

A press release from Paramount+ Says this season Renner “launches a transformative spiritual journey.”

“Islam was always something that fascinated me. I love how Muslims greeted each other. I love their friendship. And every Muslim I ever met was peaceful,” says Renner about how to go into a new faith changed her life.

But she tells people that the switch did not happen overnight.

“Allah put Islam on my heart five, six years ago. But I wasn’t ready to accept it. Right? So it took five, six years and when I got the conversation to take my Shahada, I just listened,” she says.

Shahada (Shahadah) is the Arab term for the declaration of faith on a God (Allah) and his messenger. It is the most sacred statement in Islam, according to Islamic relief Britain.

“I felt that if I had not taken my Shahada, I would go down on a really dark road,” she says.

The social media star, who has more than 4 million followers on Instagramconverted to Islam in August 2024, per Complex.

“So Islam has made my life better in every category. And as my husband says, the closer you get to God, the more you get. And literally in every category in my life. I mean, dreams happen,” she tells people.

Renner participated in Basketball women Season 12 Red Carpet Premiere with rapper Kevin Gates, 39. She smiled while she blinked at to Finger while rushing about her husband.
