A lie shares Meredith and Nick



Warning: This story contains spoilers from March 20 section of Gray’s Anatomy.

Honesty was the name of the game on Gray’s Anatomy!

On March 20, the section of HIT ABC Medical Drama series was the doctors in Gray Sloan in conflict with whether they would proceed with Tasa’s liver transplant in light of the fact that they discovered Evynn Moores (Lena Waithe) fraud on her Alzheimer’s diagnosis.

Nick marsh (Scott Speedman) insisted that they would proceed with transplantation while Meredith Gray (Ellen Pompeo) and Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) was not so sure.

“When you look at Tasha you see a possible future me. I don’t have to save,” Meredith told Nick but he shot back, “Not all about you.”

He then suggested that they do their own neuro -work before he denied Tasha “life -saving treatment based on another hospital diagnosis” and discusses the case of Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorssone).

Meredith did not take kindly to the proposal and said, “You don’t trust that I know what this looks like. This is the work of my life.”

New complications

Unknowingly to Meredith and Nick, Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Ben Warren (Jason George) discovered that their patient Lisa was also in need of a liver transplant.

As they approached Meredith to talk to Nick about a liver transplant, she assumed they were talking about Tasha and informed them: “We are still waiting for the Committee to decide whether to set aside liver to another patient.”

After Bailey insisted that the allocation of the liver was none of their “activities”, Ben then went behind his back to answer the Committee’s questions about LISA’s case. When Nick asked how he knew the committee was facing, Meredith said: “I told them. It’s not exactly a secret.”

When he learned that Lisa would receive the liver, Nick told Meredith, “I don’t get it. You made a career of finding ways around protocols. I don’t understand it.”

“It was the ethical to do,” she replied and he added, “then you can tell Evynn, her wife doesn’t get the liver.”

The news drove Evynns Ire and she told Meredith, “I think you are so focused on your research that you have forgotten the people living with it.”

“It’s not true,” counteracted Meredith and Evynn insisted, “You helped her leave her a death sentence.”

The importance of TASA’s diagnosis continued to weigh on Nick and he came up with a solution that enabled both her and Lisa to get the transplants they needed by dividing the liver into two. When I discussed Evynn after the operation, Richard told Meredith, “I didn’t agree with what she did, but I understand it. She was in a tough place.”

“She did what she thought was best given the circumstances, and I know you did,” he added and referred to Meredith’s own secret about Catherine’s health match. Meredith also received an apology from Evynn.

Nick later admitted that he did not see Meredith in Tasha but he “saw myself in Evynn”, and added, “you just have to know that if I was in our position, I would not stop fighting for you.”

“I wouldn’t either,” replied Meredith. “I can’t imagine my life without you.”

Takes a risk

After benzon ‘blue’ kwans (Harry Shum Jr.) Explanation about the love of his ex-fortman Molly (Dianne Doan), their newborn happiness was short -lived because Molly experienced an attack.

Blue later suggested that Lucas Adams (Niko Terho) could do an “reprocessing” by Molly when he was on neurosurgical service. He agreed but added, “If we get stuck, I throw you under the bus.”

After Blue learned that Molly has had an attack since her accident, they were discovered by Amelia – but surprisingly she offered to help them.

Molly later closed Amelia’s proposal that surgery was her best alternative, but Blue insisted that she move on with it. He said, “You can’t let your fear get in the way of your future.” He was quickly removed from Molly’s case, but later pushed Lucas about what happened. He said, “She’s not a patient. She’s the love of my life.”

After playing Coy if he told her, Lucas gave him some advice. “Brain surgery is scary. I wouldn’t want to do it if I didn’t know who was waiting on the other side.”

Later, Molly Blue surprised by suggesting that she wanted to undergo an experimental operation that would allow her to regain her memories. She said, “More than stopping my seizures, more than anything, I want to remember you.”

Revisiting the past

Cass Beckman (Sophia Bush) returned to Gray Sloan and Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) was proud to see her – especially when she offered to help her with a great presentation.

In Teddy’s office, the two shared a moment – after their Unexpected kiss Earlier this season – after Cass suggested that they each deserve a spa day for their hard work.

Later Teddy tried to get the spa day on the calendar, but Cass rejected her and said: “I don’t think it’s a good idea … I’m trying to respect your limits.”

As the episode ended, owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) admitted that his childhood friend Nora tried to kiss him when she visited the hospital, but insisted on “nothing happened.”

He added, “I pulled away and I didn’t want you to be upset for no reason.” But he revealed that Nora has continued to text.

Teddy then revealed his own secret and said, “I also want to be honest with you. I came across Cass today … I think I might be attracted to her.”

“What does this mean?” Owen asked, to whom Teddy replied, “I don’t know.”

After proclaiming her love for each other, she questioned, “What will happen to us?” He could not give her an answer, but the couple embraced each other.
