“I hope they have many, many years of passionate sex with desire strong at both ends,” Ethan continued. “But when her older brother trying to watch out for her, I don’t want Lydia to be injured. I don’t want her to rush into something she can regret later.”

Isaac added that he thought it was important to talk to Lydia without Zac there because when they are together, “Zac just won’t let her talk and he speaks up.”

Ethan further admitted that he planned to object to the wedding, but he finally realized that Lydia would not change.

“I would object,” he said later. “But we talked to Lydia and I felt like it was the most mature way to object instead of saying it at the wedding, and then it turns out during the ceremony that they left it out.”

“Honestly, if we were to try to stop the wedding, we would have done so before,” Isaac noted.
