Woman and boy dead in the middle of floods and hard weather in Oklahoma



Two people have been found dead in the middle of hard weather in Oklahoma.

The Moore Police Department Said they carried out a “Swift Water Rescue” on Saturday, April 19, about 21:00 local time in the midst of serious floods. The rescue involved two vehicles that were “stranded in floor water.

Police confirmed that a woman and a 12-year-old boy were found deceased and the task in a stream after several hours search.

During the incident, one of the vehicles left “the roadway and was swept under the bridge.” Other passengers in the vehicle were rescued.

“This was a historical weather event that affected roads and resulted in dozens of high water events all over the city,” the police wrote in a statement. “Moore Police Department wants to thank our nearby agencies that helped with rescue efforts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim’s family and friends.”

The police told the ABC connection Koopo that both vehicles went off the road during the incident, and one of the vehicles landed on the other. Two people, one adult man and one person believed to be his child, were inside the vehicle at the top Per Koco.

The second vehicle had three people inside and ended up in a stream, where there was a wedge against a drainage, Koco reported.
