Why Penn Badgley ‘fought to be as naked as possible’ in your finale (exclusive)

Thriller’s fifth and final season, which premiered on April 24 at Netflix, Saw Star Penn BadgleyJoe Goldberg imprisoned after the many crimes he committed throughout the series raised him.

But the prison comes after a major, physical change with its new Flambronte (Madeline Brewer) – a young woman with whom he has a deal before it was revealed that she had originally planned to avenge against Joe before he fell for him, because of her suspicions that he murdered her former taking, Guineere Beck (Elizabeth Lail).

The distance between Joe and Bronte began after she attracted him to bed and held him on weapons and asked him to edit all the changes he made in Beck’s book with a Sharpie. Then he suddenly gets a moment to talk to his son Henry, who admits he knows the truth about Joe and calls him a “monster” before he hangs.

He will soon be furious by Bronte after she explains that she “turned” to him and insists that he is not a “victim”. A full -fledged struggle then begins between the two, but fortunately it ended with the police stopping Joe in his track.

The whole sequence simply saw the Sporting Boxer panties because Bronte was completely dressed. Now Badgley tells me that his character was almost naked was a deliberate choice that was made.

“I actually struggled to be as naked as possible in the last sequence because he needed to be as dangerously close to being witnessed finally as a sexual predator that he was,” explains Badgley, 38.

“He needed to be seen that way to say to everyone, is that what you needed to see to realize who he is?” He continues. “We prevented it from now on, but is that what you need to see? And it is, I think, a really juicy type of commitment and ask with the viewer that we are all part of.”

The Easy a The actor notes that “to do it is the truth that we really had to return to shape with him as a romantic icon.”

“That’s what he is. He can’t just kill and masturbate,” he adds. “Sorry, not sorry. That’s what he does. I didn’t write it. I didn’t even shoot that!”

But still, after playing the murderous character for five seasons, from 2018, Badgley says he “will miss him a bit.”

“He has been a deep experience for me. He is not a real person. So what have I done? I have been involved in this … The entire 30s,” he shares his character, Joe Goldberg. “I was 30 years old when I took the role. I will be 39 this year. Although the show, as it came out, it has actually been almost seven years. For me it is like my 30s.”
