Lydia Plath Is married!
The Welcome to Plathville Star, 21, married his hubby in two months, Zac Wyse, on Saturday February 22 at her family’s farm in Georgia. The couple band tied in front of 115 guests in a wedding ceremony with a blue theme, where they shared their first kiss by the altar.
“The discipline it has taken to save our first kiss for the wedding day is an example of the commitment we have for each other that goes into our marriage,” Wyse tells People.
The Christian couple – as exclusively confirmed to people that they became engaged During a romantic weekend in December 2024, less than a month after Plath publicly revealed that she met Wyse – chose the farm as their wedding place because they “wanted to create new memories on top of the many memories that Lydia had grown up there.”

They also wanted their wedding to be “an example of the love Jesus has for the church”, and quotes the Bible verse Ephesians 5:25 as a goal they plan to live by.
“We imagined a time to celebrate our trade union with our close communities that gather,” says Wyse. “None of us wanted to get stuck in the details we don’t remember in the coming years. So we have tried to keep our focus on what our purpose for this day is, our association before God, our friends and family.”
Plath – as shown on his TLC Reality series with his parents, Kim and Barry PlathAnd 8 siblings – went down in the hallway to the melody of “goodness of God” played on the violin and piano. She wore a white dress with “the perfect balance between lace and sparkling as she remained very light and liquid.”
“What made me choose this dress was how it suited my personality,” Plath tells People. “It was not only my choice but many people who were there when I tried it on agreed that the dress was very me. It is a dress that makes me feel free and graceful.”

The ceremony was officiated by the couple’s pastor. The bride and groom wrote their own promises but also integrated traditional promises.
“We were both so happy to see our people meet,” says Wyse, who comes from Colorado. “For both sides it would be their first time to meet each other so it is fantastic to see the association not only Lydia and I, but also our closest friends and family.”
Before the ceremony read Wyse and Plath The importance of marriage by Timothy Keller to get to know each other and themselves better.
“This process is called Holying where you both carry each other and shoot each other to choose love even when it is difficult,” says Wyse. “We look forward to learning what it looks like in our relationship as we grow in our new love together.”
At the reception, guests were served a plated dinner with chicken Chardonnay from Florida-based Georgio.
Then the newlyweds were sliced in a strawberry cake adorned with Plath’s parents’ cake. At the same time, their friends and family enjoyed various locally made muffins.
The couple tells people that they are most happy to “learn and grow every day” and “build a rhythm in life together.” Their next chapter starts by moving together in Tallahassee, Florida.
“I love how Zac always looks for an opportunity to connect and relate to others and I know that wherever we go and whatever we do in life, it will be a very important part of life we build together,” says Lydia. “I admire how he always knows how to do all the little things in life fun and helped me to enjoy every present while they are still here.”

Wyse adds: “I admire Lydia’s ability to forget herself for the sake of others. With the concerns about whether she can but that she gave everything so that someone can have a better day.
After the wedding, Plath tells people, “this day could not have happened without everyone who just gave so much, and I have been blown away by the beauty of everything. It was so much better than I could ever have imagined.”
“It was nothing more than a miracle how this day gathered,” adds Wyse.
