William Schonemann, 76, was found killed in his home in New River, Ariz., April 28, said Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in a statement.

His death was determined to be a murder by Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office. A cause of death was not released for the public.

The sheriff’s office said that proof of the site suggested it may have been foul play.
