Universal Studios Hollywood is getting ready for a whole new attraction to drive into the park.
Southern California’s amusement park looked at the first look at its latest roller coaster and the first outdoor roller coaster on June 12. The New Ride, Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift-inspired by the prolonged Fast & Furious Franchise – Coming to the amusement park 2026!
Along with announcing the opening date added Universal Studios Hollywood a video It included a reproduction of the new trip. The video starts with a close-up on the roller coaster, Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger. (It will also be shown before the opening of the trip, from Friday June 13 to Sunday, August 10, 2025.)

The video contains various clips from the Hit Action series, with the cars that wake their engines and fast through the streets.
It also shows reproductions showing how the driving vehicles will turn to create a feeling of driving cars, all as you follow the roller coaster’s path and sometimes go up and down. “With a groundbreaking 360-degree rotation of the individual ride vehicles as they rocket along an elaborate track, this is a roller coaster like no other,” reads the park’s announcement on June 12.
According to the video, the trip will seem to take riders over the park’s signature escalators between the upper and lower parts, giving park guests a look at the riders and vice versa.
The new trip will be the fastest mountain and roller coaster in all universal parks, with a maximum speed of 72 km / h, per Deadline. It will use 4,100 foot tracks and start from the entrance to Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

“Looking at the progress with this incredible mountain and coaster comes to life is really spectacular,” said Scott Strobl, Universal Studios Hollywood’s CEO and manager, according to the outlet.
“2026 is just around the corner,” he continued. “‘Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift’ will be a powerful gaming exchanger for Universal Studios Hollywood that will not only change the topography at our destination but will introduce a whole new level of adrenaline to our already dynamic Temapark.”
