Two people died in a private flight accident in North Carolina on Friday 14 March.
According to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)A Beechcraft Bonanza crashed near Pitt-Greenville Airport in North Carolina around 7:50 local time.
“Two people were on board. FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate. NTSB will be responsible for the investigation and will provide further updates,” the statement said.
North Carolina Highway Patrol Public Information Officer, Rico Stephens split under a press conference That “upon arrival a search was launched to see if any surviving people or passengers on board could be located (and) no passengers or no survivors were located.”
Stephens said that at present is information about what happened and the survivors are “limited.”
“We are investigating the scene and trying to identify the victims and make contact with the family. So I ask you to carry with us as we go through that process. I will not put a time frame on it,” he said.
Greenville Police Department also confirmed that there were no survivors of the incident and shared in a statement“Unfortunately, there were no survivors. Investigators are still working to identify the individuals aboard the plane. There were no other injuries.”
According to WitnFlight register showed that a Beechcraft Bonanza left Pitt-Greenville Airport at 7:46 and was on its way to Vero Beach, FLA.
Stephens said during the press conference that the plane was found on the farm for consolidated pipes and delivery, a pipe supplier, but there is no evidence that the plane hit the roadway.

“It is a farm in a nearby business, only materials there for the business and everything. Gravelgård surrounded by bushes,” Stephens said while describing the stage.
“Everyone near the crash area as far as the business is reported and no one else was injured during the crash,” Stephens told reporters, leaving that there was no “no one in the business” when the incident occurred.
Later at the press conference, Pitt-Greenville Airport CEO Bill Hopper Flyers recommended to give more time to get to the airport, but confirmed that the airlines are still running. According to the Greenville Police Department’s statement, Memorial Drive, which was closed after the incident, has reopened and traffic can resume.
The National Transport Agency confirmed to people that an investigator is on their way to the scene and is expected to arrive tomorrow.
“Once in place, the investigator will begin the process of documenting the stage and investigating the aircraft. The aircraft will then be recovered to a secure facility for further evaluation,” the organization said.
