A new book claims to reveal the story behind the highly circulated image of presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump Share what seemed to be a friendly chat By January of the funeral of Jimmy Carter.
Trump, 79, and Obama, 63, were smilingly photographed in the Washington National Cathedral on January 9, and given their controversial past, the moment led to lots of speculation about what they could have talked about.
Now the new book 2024: How Trump resumed the White House and Democrats lost America From journalists Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager and Isaac Arnsdorf claim that Trump had invited Obama to golf with him at Carter’s Funeral.
“He sat next to Barack Obama and invited him to play golf and attracted him with descriptions of Trump’s courses around the world,” the book claims.

Trump owns Several courses All over the world, including locations in Scotland, Ireland, Florida, Indonesia, New Jersey, Dubai and Washington, DC, among others.
When Obama arrived at the funeral, he greeted the other former presidents and vice presidents attended, all of whom they said as they said. Trump, who participated in the service with his wife, First Lady Melania trumpdid not stand to greet Obama. But moments later the two were seen.
The president previously acknowledged his chat with Obama at the ceremony “looked very friendly,” Tell Fox News’ Peter Doocy in a clip shared by Forbes that he and the former president “probably do” as each other.
“I didn’t realize it, how friendly it looked,” he said during a Mar-A-Lago meeting with Republican governors hours after Carter’s funeral. “I saw it in your wonderful network, just a little while ago, before I came in. And I said:” Boy, they look like two people (like) as each other. “And we probably do.”
He added, “We have slightly different philosophies, right? But we probably do. I don’t know, we’ve just agreed.”
Access was a sharp deviation from Trump’s previous comments about Obama, which he addressed to a Birts conspiracy campaign for several years before entering the White House.

Trump claimed for several years that Obama – who was born in Hawaii – had not been born in the United States. In his memoir in 2018 SuitableThe Michelle Obama said Trump’s Birther theory “Crazy and meaningful,” Writing, “its underlying bigotry and xenophobia (was hardly hidden.”
Michelle, 61, promised to “never forgive” Trump to disseminate error information about her husband’s past, which she said he jeopardized their two daughters Sasha, 24 and Malia, 27.
