When I was elaborate, I just hoped to do the team. I never dreamed that I would stand here two and a half decades later, made of bronze and frozen in time. It actually feels quite appropriate, considering my 40-yard-litter time.”

Brady called the moment an “incredible honor”, joking that it marked “the first time” in his life as Boston sports writer would describe him as “chiseled.”

In the case of power, the team’s owner called the statue a way of “immortalizing” a man he considered to be the “biggest NFL player of all time.”
