The creative power plant said he believes that manganiello, 48, would be especially perfect for a specific potential Tmnt Project set decades in the future from when the original film from 1990 took place and noted that the concept is based on his 2022 Tmnt comic, The last ronin.
“I first met him (when) he contacted me online because he is a huge Turtle Damn, and he’s a big fan of Turtles Role play, ”Eastman reminds me of Manganiello.
“So we visited a few times and we keep in touch. He sends pictures of bubbles and just different things he does workwise,” Eastman continues. “But when they talked about making a new Turtles Live-action movie, he said, “I want to be Casey Jones in the audit of it.” He sent me a couple of pictures. And he would be (perfect) in age. He’s perfect. He would be perfect for that. ”

While Eastman expressed excitement over the prospect of potentially visiting the original Tmnt Live-Action World, he also acknowledged that nothing is certain in view of the industry’s uncertain nature.
“There has been a bunch of discussion between different Hollywood producers and Paramount and sure fans to do it as a live-action movie. It is going on. You never know if it will happen-(whether) things will happen to Hollywood or not,” he tells people.

The success of the original 1990 film inspired decades of beloved content, including two sequels and an animated series. It also paved the way for a restart film in 2014 and a 2016 sequel, as well as a number of animated films-the latest released in 2023 and was co-written by Seth Rogen And Evan Goldberg.
As for why Turtles Franchise continues to reason with the audience? Eastman said that is because everyone can see themselves in at least one of the characters and that the core of all Turtles Stories come to one thing: Family.
“It’s about the family as the center of the heart and soul for all the stories,” he says. “And from now on in 40 years, each iteration has included the same element. Four turtles, splinter, April, Casey, and it’s just this wonderful family aspect.”
