A young mother in Tennessee was able to spend the rest of her life behind bars after a jury convicted her of murdering her 15 -month -old daughter and stiving her body in a playhouse on the family’s property.
A Christmasivan County Jury found Megan Boswell23, guilty of three first degree murder charges in the death of her daughter Evelyn, who disappeared in 2019.
She was also found guilty of aggravated abuse against children and aggravated neglect of children. She had not awakened and did not testify in the case.
Closing arguments in Boswell’s trial ended on Wednesday, and the jury spent just over four hours considering, Per WJHL. On Thursday, the jury made a life sentence with the possibility of Parole, reported the outlet, rather than imposing a life sentence without parole.

Evelyn was last seen in December 2019, and her remains were found in a playhouse on a family member’s property the following March.
Megan was charged with allegations of murder in August 2020. During the hectic search for Evelyn, Megan gave contradictory statements during interviews with various local news publications, People reported earlier.
Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy said at a press conference in 2020 that every time the authorities spoke to Evelyn’s mother, “her story changes.”
During its testimony in 2022, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Agent Brian Fraley reportedly testified that Megan falsely told investigators Evelyn had died while sleeping.
