The Biden administration examines ways on which it can avoid a direct shutdown of Tiktok, just days from the app’s ban on Sunday.
Washington, DC – Biden administration is reportedly looking in manner it can hold Tiktok From having to completely turn off when a ban comes into force on Sunday.

Less than a week out of presidential election Donald Trump’s inauguration, and just days before TikTok is expected to be closed by the Biden administration can postpone the enforcement of the ban it has been pushing hard.
The move would allow Trump to handle the issue in his own way and avoid a total shutdown of the app on Sunday.
“Americans should not expect to see TikTok suddenly prohibited on Sunday,” a source within the administration told NBC News.
But an official in the White House counteracted by telling NBC: “We do not consider postponing enforcement … statutory, we do not think we have the authority to do so.”

In a briefing last month, Trump urged the Supreme Court to pause In his deliberations on the Tiktok ban and wait until he can “strive for a negotiated resolution.”
In spite of the request, the Supreme Court still expected to maintain the law that requires the ban.
Trump has almost 15 million followers on TikTok and has recently supported the app’s right to work in the United States.
“Honestly, there are a lot of people on Tiktok who love it,” Trump said in An interview with CNBC In March 2024.
“There are many small children on Tiktok who will go crazy without it. There are many users, very good, and there is very bad with Tiktok.”
