After publishing a sultry selfie with the question, “Why do I get a counter -reaction because I called myself a single mother?” Written over It Tuesday 22 July, the Sister, sister Alum, 47, followed the image with a video of her feet that went in the sand.
Over the video, she wrote that “the family can look different than we imagined and still be full of love, stability and joy.” She added, “This is my truth.”
Mowry expressed that even if being a single mother does not always mean “a mother who does it completely alone but the father present in the lives of her children”, what is often overlooked is “the shade for what a single mother can actually mean.”
The proud mother wrote a video that she brushed her daughter’s hair: “For me, in my household, I’m single. I have no partner, so I keep it to everyone at home. I’m the only parent today.”

She followed the video with a clip of herself that went on water, reflected in text that she felt feelings as guilt and shame early in her divorce and wondered if she still had a family, but “looking back now, I know we always were.”
The clip that followed was a video of Mowry that held his children’s hands before each of them gave her a kiss.
She wrote in text over the video that “different family dynamics” must be normalized because a family is not “broken” because the parents are not together.
During a video of their two children, Mowry wrote that they are prioritized and their parents should be there for “no matter what.”
In another picture, Mowry wrote that what “makes things toxic or” broken “is when the children feel the gap. When they feel they have to choose between parents.”
