The world’s only survivor nonuplets depicted in new photos as they turn 4

The Arby Nonuplets Celebrated his fourth birthday!

Guinness World Records shared a new photo of the nine siblings, as the four boys and five girls celebrated their fourth birthday. The nine children posed with their parents, Halima Cissé and Abdelkader Arby.

On Sunday, May 4th, Instagram postThe brothers Mohammed VI, Oumar, Elhadji and Bah are seen together with their sisters, Kadidia, Fatouma, Hawa, Adama and Oumou. They have an older sister, Souda, 6.

They are the first known nonuplets – which means nine children born at once – to survive birth. They also received Guinness’s world record for “most children delivered at a single birth to survive.” They were born in a special care center in Morocco on May 4, 2021, per Guinness World Records.

All nine are lined up next to each other in the first two pictures shared by the organization. The third picture contains all five daughters sitting next to each other, and the last photo includes Halima and Abdelkader that smiles together.

“Today is a very special for Malima Halima Cissé and Abdelkader Arby-Tera’s record-breaking nonuplets turn four! “What beautiful little boys and girls they have become!”

Their mother, Halima, 29, told Guinness, before the celebration, that “the children are good, of God’s grace.”

“They have grown so much since their last birthday and the change is clearly visible in them all,” she said. “For their fourth birthday, we decided to celebrate in a Grandios way, as a celebrity would do!”

After their birthday published the family’s Instagram account several Photos and Videos of the celebration.

At the time of their birth, Halima and Abdelkads originally believed that they had the Septuplets – or seven children born at once. But after they left Mali to the Special Care Center in Morocco, they learned about the two more children. “We started with seven, and Allah blessed us by nine,” Abdelkader told Guinness.

Infants were delivered via Caesarean section after 30 weeks and weighed between 1.1 and 2.2 kg. A total of 32 doctors worked to safely deliver the children.

The family then stayed in Morocco in a specially equipped apartment with health care for the next 19 months, per BBC.

“We know that nonuplets are a gift from God,” Halima told Associated Press At the time of their second birthday. “Raising children is not easy, even with a child it is difficult. So nine children at the same time!”
