The woman leaves wedding shocked after Bride says her outfit is “inappropriate” and does not meet her “dress code”

When a woman arrived at a wedding Friday 25 April, she had no idea that she would leave before the reception had barely begun.

A tictoker whose name is Elisé and posts under the username is @BROWN_RNBegan publishing her multipart history to the social media platform after she, her husband and their two children had their evening plans shortened.

In her first videoWhere she sits in her car dressed in a patterned blue, baby pink and white dress, she begins her story by saying that the family had traveled two hours for a wedding by her husband’s friend (the groom), but she did not know the bride. They had only been there about “15 minutes” when the bride approached her to say that her outfit was “inappropriate” for “the dress code.”

She formed the video with, “was kicked out of a wedding reception for being out of a dress code that I didn’t know it existed!”

Elisé continues to say that she “never received a wedding invitation emailed” to her house, her husband just received a text message invitation, and to her knowledge there was nothing included in a dress code.

After the first video she included a photo by himself and her husband showing their coordinating clothes. Together with her spring -clear dress, she wore tan sandals. Her husband wore a matching dark blue suit with a light pink buttocks and matching tie.

However, the story did not end there. After her first video took off, commentators were clinging for more information, so she provided “Backstory“With more context, including clarification again that she did not know the bride and her husband were just friends with the groom. In fact, she says that the first words the bride spoke to her at the reception – where this went down – she was telling the woman that her outfit was not ok for the event.

Elisé says the bride came to her and said, “Let me say something. Your outfit is inappropriate. It doesn’t match the dress code. There was a dress code, and I asked for people to wear these specific colors.”

But what really threw her for a loop was that the bride closed by probably saying, “usually I would send people home, but since you got far away, I let you stay,” but apparently in a way that this woman knew was not welcoming. The bride had also just asked Elisé’s man to remove her pink tie, as it did not fit the dress code. So Elisé left, while her husband gathered her children.

She says she was really dismissed by how “rude” the approach was, with the bride who chose not to even introduce herself. Her husband was also “injured” by the interaction, she says in yet another videoBecause it is one of his “long -term friends” and it was a disappointment not to be able to spend time catching up with him and his other friends.

People constantly asked more questions in her comments, so she continued her Videos On April 26 and said that the wedding was at 15 o’clock on Friday and the temperature was 85 degrees. She felt that her light dress and sandals were completely suitable at the moment as it the weather and the time of day read “relaxed” to her. She also repeated that she had not received any word about a dress code.

Elisé says that the text message detailed time, the date and the place of the wedding, and she jokes that there were messages between “dudes” and maybe it was part of the communication distribution.

In a April 27 videoElisé says that the groom admitted to her and her husband that he never shared the dress code with them. The bride, however, refused to take ownership for her actions and stood at what she said to the couple about the dress code. The woman says that the bride has also asked her to stop posting the wedding on social media. But as she says in the video “Respect, in my book, goes two ways” and she showed her respect by leaving her wedding, even though she does not think she was shown respect. So she has chosen to leave the films up. She pointed out that she did not identify the bride in any way, and she did not even give any information about the place for the wedding.

The last kicker came April 28, when Elisé shared another video It actually had the dress code. In a screenshot at the end of the video, the dress code colors were revealed to be “Smokey Gray, Midnight Blue, Sunflower Yellow and Crimson Red.” The dress code also stated that the colors would be worn only in solid form, no patterns. No white or black clothes for the women, no black for men and guests would just wear black shoes.

While revealing the dress code, Elisé says that if she had originally seen all these rules, she probably would not have bothered to go. Many of the commentators on the video joined and noted how extreme it was.
