A significant loan request is not sensible for A daughter.
The woman explained on the Community forum Mumnet That her mother’s partner in six years requests a large loan – amounts to all her mother’s “life savings” – to buy them a new house.
“I am worried even though it is a short -term loan to enable him to buy a house now until the current is sold,” she admitted before describing how her mother is doing. “She’s worried but she also trusts him.”
“To be fair he is a nice guy, he has two adult children, and my mother has two. They also share a child together, my brother,” she added. “She lives in her house now, but it’s quite small, so he wants to buy a slightly bigger house for the family to visit, and he will soon be a grandfather.”

The daughter then puts up reasons why she is worried about her mother.
“I am worried that he will not marry her – he said it is too complicated with his adult children, work shares and a family confidence,” she wrote, leaving, “he will not put her on the deeds. He has never shared a will even.”
“My mother arises with this because she has still received her divorce money fenced in the event of problems. It is her failed,” she continued. “He would borrow this money just on a short loan, but she is worried that is me if something random happens to him. How could she get it back?”

MumsNet users validated their problems – with 98% of almost 1,500 people who voted in a survey who chose “You are not unreasonable.”
“WTF No! It would be angry to do this for every possible reason,” answered a person, with another calling legal caution by commenting, “if she feels inclined to do so, she would have to take legal advice and get a waterproof contract drawn out and signed before a penny is left.”
A third reader simply answered: “Just a red flags everywhere.”
