On one post In the British based forum Mosnet, the woman said that she recently threw a celebration for her partner “with all her friends and family”, and that “went off (largely) without any problems.”

But she explained that things took a trip to the worse when a couple they “both are very good friends with” showed up.

When it comes to the couple “currently going through a divorce” continued the woman “, it is largely friendly, but the man has started drinking quite a lot more and can be very aggressive.”

Vonied that the man is “high and quite wide,” the woman also said that he can be “quite traditional when it comes to gender roles, but this only seems to ever be picked up by women and not the men in his life.”

According to the woman, she and the man have “always had an odd relationship” and there have been tense moments, including times when she criticized him “for how he spoke to me or his wife.”

Such an event happened during the birthday party for her partner, said the woman, when the man “started drinking quite heavy and was quite high and disgusting for other guests” as soon as he and his soon-to-go wife arrived.

At one point during the event, the woman checked in to all the guests to make sure they did okay. But when she came to the man’s table, the woman said: “He turned to me, told me that” F — off “and with both hands shot me so hard that I almost dropped my foot.”

When he described that “only a couple of people” saw the change, the woman drove it aside until she and her partner returned to her home later at night.

“I was a little disappointed with his reaction,” she wrote, leaving that her partner defended the man for “he goes through a divorce” and “his mother just died.”

Still, the woman told her partner that “there was no excuse” and she “could have been seriously injured.” She also told him that she would take up the incident with her friend and how she felt that she “deserved an apology” if her partner did not herself.

But, “Two Weeks” went, because the woman said her partner “struggles with confrontation” – even though she was her “biggest champion” and “a wonderful person.”

“I told him that his answer showed how he prioritized his friendship in front of me, and that if he had just handled it immediately, then we would have already moved on,” the woman wrote. “But I’m still not convinced that he even gets my perspective on this, and that makes me really think about our relationship for the first time in a very long time.”

When the woman finished her post by writing that “even asking him gives me a case of ick”, she was met with mixed reactions from other mumsnet users.

“I can see why you are disappointed – I would not be satisfied with this type of aggressive behavior, ignored and minimized,” one person wrote.

Another agreed to say, “It is definitely man’s job to stand in for his partner and deal with it and say something. It’s normal!”

In the meantime, others felt that the woman should have said something at the party and solved the question right now, rather than waiting for her significant others to do it later.
